Oh Tara!! Thank you so much for this beautiful message—it means the world to me!! 💛
The “what’s wrong with me?" question haunted me most of my life. It is so isolating, and yet it seems like so many of us carry this message around silently!!
I’m so happy to hear that you’ve found your own healing and have chosen you, too. That is no small thing. It takes BIG courage!! 💪
Thank you for commenting and sharing your truth! It’s such a gift to connect with other women who’ve walked through the dark and made it out the other side with more clarity, self-trust, and compassion. It inspires me to keep writing. Thank you for seeing me and validating my experiences!! i’m so grateful to have you here 🙌
It's so well deserved!! You are a beautiful, strong and gifted woman! It's such a pleasure to meet you and get to read your written work! And be inspired by your journey to choosing you aswell!! I too absolutely love meeting all the lovely women and being able to read about their walk, and their journeys aswell!! This space is just soo awesome!! Everyone here has just been so amazing!! I'm grateful to have met you here! And I'm looking forward to reading more of your work and to continue to connect!! 💓💓💓
My path is a little different than yours (wish I could say I had even one degree from Duke) but I have had similar feelings in my life. Knowing I have a good life, one that I created. Yet, feeling like there was something more but feeling so guilty for wanting more. Can't wait for part two. Thank you for sharing something so personal.
Lindsay, what a beautiful comment—thank you! I really love what you said about creating a good life and still feeling like there might be something more. That tension is SO real, and I carried a lot of guilt around it for a long time.
Lately, I’ve been reminding myself that longing—especially the kind that pulls us inward and deeper—isn’t selfish at all. It's selfLESS and extremely brave.
I’m so grateful our paths crossed here! It means so much to me that you are reading along 💛
P.S. Degrees are definitely not all they’re hyped up to be. The real education is the courage to carve your own path and it sounds like you've done that. I see you!!!
Your PS gave me a lump in my throat! Thanks so much, Sarah. The pull is real and I hate that we have felt bad about it for a single second. So glad to have found you here.
Searching to figure out what my version of success is versus what other people's. Your story helped me and is the reminded that I needed. Thanks, Sarah-Frances
Sarah. I can understand what you went through. I had a different but similar kind of experience where I just needed to change everything about my life.
I resonate so much with this. It’s so easy to try and do all the things that we “should” be doing and not stop to think about what is actually right for us or even better, what we actually want to do. Loved reading this 👏
Although my story is different I could really feel every word you wrote!!
"Watching others move through life so effortlessly made me wonder if there was something wrong with me"
This qoute resonated with me deeply! I have also been there in that place!!
I'm so glad to read that you have experienced healing and have chosen you!! I took have found my healing and have chosen me too!!
It's so inspiring to read the beautiful stories of other women who have been there and found there way out!!
You are so gifted I am truly looking forward to reading more of your work!!
